Being organized helps me save a bit of my sanity. With three kids in school and multiple sports, running two home based business and life in general things can get pretty hectic! I love Brit’s tip about the toilet paper holder. It might seem strange but it really does make a big difference! Are you the only one in your house that actually puts the toilet paper roll back on the holder when it needs to be replaced?

That’s why I created this space for them. Each child has a hook for their jacket and backpack, plus a place to store their shoes. I added bins on each side. Most of them hold activities like puzzles or blocks. One of them holds winter gear including hats, gloves and scarves. I like organizing in bins because they not only look nice but you can take them out and carry them wherever you need them!
Another organizational tip is storing your extra grocery bags in the bottom of your waste bins. Insert a bag over them as your normally would. When you empty your trash, another bag is ready and waiting! This is a time saver and also saves on extra clutter!
