Having a December birthday is never easy. It’s difficult to plan a party with so many other things going on with the holidays. People are busy and already have plans. My middle daughter turned 8 this month and for the first time we had a “real” birthday party. Normally we just let her pick a friend and an activity like a movie and have a family party to celebrate. This year we decided to wait until Winter Break when kids would be out of school and had a mid-week party at Altitude Trampoline Park in Marysville. It was perfect!
Altitude Trampoline Park is a brand new 28,000 square foot, indoor park with jumping activities including sports such as dodgeball, battle beams, basketball slam dunking and fitness programs, competitive jumping, and just plain, old-fashioned jumping fun is the perfect place for birthday parties. We had visited recently and already knew we loved the place!
They reserved a table for us with some balloons and a cute sign. There were waters for the party guests and 2 large pizzas were included with the package. We were able to add on a third pizza so that we had enough for the parents too. The staff at Altitude was very accommodating and easy to work with.
The party package included an hour of jump time and an hour for the party but they were super flexible and we were able to jump and use the party area the entire two hours. We were allowed to bring in our own dessert for the party — we brought doughnuts which was a great choice since they were really easy to serve and clean up.
With all the different activities and over 100 inter-connected trampolines, there was bouncing fun for everyone! The basketball area was fun for trying to make a slam dunk!
The boys especially loved the Dodgeball arena! This enclosed area offers a big and safe place to play a fun round of Dodgeball!
The favorite activity had to be the Battle Beam! Kids use these big foam cylinders to try to push their opponent off of the beam and into the foam pit.
Losing doesn’t look like such a bad thing as they fall into the giant foam pit! The kids had so much fun with this and we were thrilled with the over all party experience. There’s a nice room for the parents to lounge in, massage chairs set up around the facility for parents to relax in, plenty of room for kids to store their belongings in cubbies and more room to play than you know what to do with!
McKinley received a Altitude t-shirt and a one hour jump pass as part of the party package. She can’t wait to go back! All guests also received a pair of grip socks to wear during the party and keep for next time! I love that these were included and not an additional expense since they are required.
Waivers are required for all jumpers but Altitude makes it really easy. There are computer kiosks for parents to use and a it prints out a receipt that is then scanned into a computer so it won’t need to be filled out again for the next visit! This helps keep lines short and leaves more time for play!

That looks like SO much fun. I would love to have a trampoline room in my house 🙂 I always worry that I will jump on someone and break them. I like solo jumping a lot.
