Choose from 50% blocking or 99% blocking. This is a personal preference but here are some guidelines to help you choose:

50% Blocking Glasses

Ideal for mid day use when blue light has less of an affect
Allows more light through which means you get to see true colours
Blocks the 50% most harmful blue light
Look like regular prescrtiption glasses

99% Blocking Glasses

Ideal for late night use when blue light has the strongest affect on our body
Tints everything yellow which can be a tad claustrophobic for some people
Ideal for people that are very sensitive to blue light

I gave a pair of 50% blocking glasses a whirl. I chose the “Cateye” style. They’re actually pretty cute! The frames are black but the inside of the arms of the glasses have a pretty purple and yellow design. I don’t wear glasses normally so I thought these might bother me. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. I forget I am even wearing them! I’ve noticed that my eyes feel better. I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop and my eyes usually feel dry and stingy by the end of the day. I hadn’t really given much thought to why this was but I am glad to have found a solution!

The lenses do have a yellow tint and sort of a rainbow reflection when the light hits them but I don’t really notice this at all when I am wearing them. The reflection is only noticeable when I look in a mirror. I love that the glasses are stylish which makes them more fun to wear.
