I love supporting women based businesses so when I heard about 7 Charming Sisters I wanted to learn more! This company consists of 7 “work sisters” who have been colleagues for 10 to 15 years. Each woman has a unique personality and style to bring to the table. Meet the sisters: Paula, the elegant Executive, Kim, the vivacious Life of the Party, Jennifer, the dedicated Fashionista, Donalda, the flirtatious Social Butterfly, Jessica, the smart and Sexy Nerd, Kimberly, the cute All-American Girl and Melissa, the sporty Super Mom. Based on these characteristics, they’ve created seven different lines of jewelry to cater to other women that can relate to their lifestyles.
Not sure which line to choose from? They’ve got a fun quiz to get you started! I feel like I can relate to several of the sisters and had fun shopping all of the different lines and picking out items that caught my eye. I had the opportunity to check out two of them for myself and was impressed with the quality of each piece as well as the fact that many of their handmade pieces are handcrafted by those with intellectual disabilities who earn a commission. I love all the support that this company bases their foundation on!
This piece is called Lilacs in Milan. I was drawn to it’s unique design as well as the gorgeous color. The purple beaded necklace features glass beads with asymmetrical chain connectors.
To me this is a little bit dressier pieces that creates a really fun and trendy look. It dresses up this outfit a bit. I love pairing a dressier accessory with a casual outfit like this one — an oversized grey t-shirt dress knotted at the side with a denim jacket. The shoes also take the look up a notch.
My favorite accessories are ones I can wear every day so it was no surprise that the “Simplicity” necklace grabbed my attention. This layered gold charm necklace is a must-have accessory that wears well with just about anything! I love how it can be dressed up or down. The longest layer features a simple bar with the shorter layer a pretty gold ring. I love the layered lengths of the necklace.
Here I have it with a basic tee, adorable pencil skirt and dressed down with a denim jacket. It adds the perfect detail to this outfit!
Here I’ve dressed it up just slightly with a tee shirt dress, leggings and booties. I just love how versatile this pieces is! It even has an extender with a lobster clasp so that the length can be adjusted from 16-20″ depending on how you like to wear it. I wish this necklace was available in silver — I’d get one in each color — that’s how much I love this necklace!
