I was recently introduced to the talents of Lauren of Garlands by Lauren Etsy shop and Lauren’s Creations on Facebook. She makes super cute garlands but her growth charts are a must-have for any parent. I have something similar and love tracking my 3 kid’s growth on the large wooden rulers.
Lauren’s growth charts are customizable so you can pick what suits your personal tastes. This baseball one is my personal favorite. These growth charts are very reasonably priced — just $30 for a 6 foot tall custom one!
To see the quality of Lauren’s work I received one of her Yardzee sets. I used to play Yhatzee with my grandparents and have recently taught my kids how to play. Yardzee is basically and oversized Yhatzee with large wooden dice so you can play it outdoors. We took our new set camping and it was a hit!
We chose the natural stain with the dots burned in for a more natural look but Lauren offers customizations on these too and you can pick different colors for your dice and number dots.
Glamma joined in our fun and played for her first time. We taught her how and now she’s a seasoned pro — she came in second out of five!
Our little was the champ. She had a harder time rolling all 5 dice at once because of their size but she loved the game! I love how durable this set is. Lauren sent us a laminated score card and dry erase marker so we can play again and again without dealing with a bunch of papers. The game is easy to learn and fun to play at home or on any outdoor adventure. This game will definitely be a camping staple!
