Dinnerly: Easy to Make Meals, Delivered #Giveaway

Are you stuck in a dinner rut?  Does your family eat the same meals over and over on a rotating basis?  My family was.  Normally I’m hesitant to try delivery services because my family tends to be really picky.  I looked at the Dinnerly menu and found a week that looked promising and gave it a try.

Dinnerly is a budget friendly meal kit delivery service that provides the ingredients and recipes you need to cook dinners for just $5 per serving.  Most kits like this run around $10 per serving so Dinnerly is a great value!

Dinnerly only sends quality ingredients like antibiotic free chicken and free range ground beef along with fresh vegetables and seasonings to make flavorful meals you’re sure to love.  Most recipes are 6 ingredients or less and can be made fairly quickly for convenience.

The first meal we tried was Veggie Flatbread Pizza. This kit came with flat bread, red onion, ricotta, spinach and red pepper.  I knew my kids wouldn’t care for this one but the hubs and I wanted to give it a try.  We used some of the flat bread to make pepperoni and cheese pizza for the kids.

I used the Dinnerly recipe to make our pizza.  It was fun to try something new and I loved how the peppers on the pizza came out.  The spinach base was a little salty in my opinion but nothing a small modification couldn’t take care of.  Making this meal inspired me to try new things and we will be adding some similar meals to our regulars.

Tacos are a family favorite but Dinnerly’s recipe put a new spin on things for use.  The Cheesy Grass-fed Beef Tacos with Shredded Cabbage and Carrots were a huge hit.  The beef was great and the seasoning even better — I’d love to get my hands on a big jar of it!

We’d actually never used cabbage on tacos at home and were surprised to discover that we loved the perfect crunch and flavor it added while still keeping things simple.  This was our favorite recipe from the kit.

The third meal our box came with was Saucy Spaghetti with Italian Sausage Meatballs.  This is what Dinnerly says about this meal:

We love sausage in our spaghetti so this was a good choice for our family.  Having 3 meal kits delivered to our door made busy week night’s a whole lot easier and I was able to put healthy meals on the table to enjoy before heading out to sports practices which isn’t always an easy feat.
