How We Feed Our Fandom: Game Day Spread! #FosterFarmsBowl #Giveaway

When we aren’t at our kids sports practices or games you’ll most likely find us supporting friends and family at their games or supporting our local teams whether college, pro or even high school level. We are huge Husky fans. This past weekend my son and hubby had the opportunity to go to the Utah vs. Washington game with my son’s football league. The game time wasn’t determined until a few days before the game so planning our game day festivities was a little difficult. We decided to make a game spread to enjoy at home while the boys were off to see it live. Since they were taking the bus down to the game, they were limited on what they could take with them. They ended up with a late 7:30 pm game time so they were able to fill up before they left for the game and take some corn dogs with them in an insulated bag to snack on later.

When it comes to our game day spread, Foster Farms has us covered whether it’s a platter filled with wings, nuggets and corn dogs, Foster Farms chicken breasts and legs marinated in a delicious sauce and grilled to perfection, or Foster Farms sliced turkey that goes great for those game time hoagies and sandwiches. This time we went with corn dogs and mini corn dogs with chili and cheese dip, boneless buffalo wings and buffalo chicken dip made with Foster Farms fresh chicken breast.

The corn dogs are always a crowd pleaser, especially amongst the kids who may not like the spicy-ness of the buffalo chicken dishes. It’s fun to switch it up with different sauces for the corn dogs.

Honey mustard and ketchup is another way my kiddos enjoy their corn dogs. These travel well and we’ve enjoyed them at football games in the past. I just bake them, wrap individually in foil and pack them into an insulated bag. I bring ketchup and party cups to squirt the ketchup into. It works wonderfully with no mess!

For the adults, you can’t go wrong with this easy to make Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe which I like to serve with corn chips and celery.

Start by boiling 2 chicken breasts. I like Foster Farms Simply Raised fresh chicken because they don’t use antibiotics or added hormones or steroids — just fresh and natural chicken!.

When your chicken is done cooking, shred it and mix with 1/2 of a 12 oz bottle of buffalo sauce (you can eyeball it — exact measuring isn’t necessary. I like shredding my chicken in my Kitchen Aid mixer and adding in the sauce for perfectly shredded chicken every time! Spread in the bottom of a medium sized baking dish. I used a 9×9 glass Pyrex dish.

Next, melt one 6 oz package of cream cheese and mix with 1/2 bottle of ranch dressing. Once combined, spread over your chicken layer, top with shredded cheese and bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly. For larger crowds, double the recipe! It’s always a big hit and one of my favorite recipes!

A “Go Huskies” cheer and my guys were ready to hit the road! They picked up some friends, headed to the Park & Ride and took the bus over to the stadium. They arrived in time to enjoy a short time tailgaiting with the rest of the Snohomish Panthers Junior Football Association before heading in.

Football is always more fun with friends!

And there’s nothing quite like the live experience! The boys stayed for the whole game and were treated with a Husky WIN! They had a BLAST!
