Dad and Pop: An Ode to Fathers and Stepfathers-This book is perfect for those who have a father & a stepfather or  for children who have friends that do.  The narrator of the story, a young girl who has two fathers, differentiates the two by calling one “Dad” (her birth father) and one “Pop” (her stepfather).  She compares their similarities and differences.  They might look very different but they both love her.

While not strictly a “Father’s Day” book, Guess How Much I Love You books are about a parents love for their children.  I fell in love with Guess How Much I Love You long before I had children of my own and now it has much more meaning.
