Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is now available on Digital and via the digital movie app MOVIES ANYWHERE! It will also be released on Buy-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on February 5th. We didn’t get a chance to see this when it was in theaters but we did get an advance copy which we watched at home last week. As expected, it was adorable. The movie is based on Dr. Seuss’ story that most of us are familiar with. While traditionally a Christmas tale, this heartwarming story can be enjoyed year round. Watch as the cynical and grumpy Grinch goes on a mission to steal Christmas but instead finds his heart growing 3 sizes larger through unexpected friendships.
The new home entertainment edition contains more than 60 minutes of bonus content, including three mini-movies:
- “Dog Days of Winter” starring the Grinch and his heroically loyal dog Max
- “Yellow is the New Black”
- “Santa’s Little Helpers,” both starring the lovable Minions.
It also includes stunning featurettes, a how-to-draw tutorial, a Who’s Who in Who-ville interactive map, “Your a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” Lyric Video and much more! My kids and I really enjoyed the bonus content after watching the movie. My girls especially love drawing so the tutorial was great. Our favorite though was the “Santa’s Little Helpers”. Its hard to get enough of those loveable little minions!
