As soon as spring arrives I start keeping my eye out for fun non-candy related items for my kids Easter Baskets. My girls love making things whether its a craft or a new recipe. My girls especially like projects they can do completely on their own. This is definitely one of them as it’s super easy to use. Simply choose a flavor, mix the powder with milk (or a milk substitute) in the frozen Frappe Maker, then continue to mix and scrape down the sides and bottom as the liquid starts to freeze. Serve in the included, authentic Frappe Cup! You do have to think ahead a little because the Frappe Maker Freezer Cup must stay in the freezer at least 12 hours prior to use for it to work. Since it only serves one, you may want to consider purchasing 2 kits — treats are always more fun with a friend or family member.
My girls loved the serving cup since it looks just like one you’d get from a real coffee stand. They layered two of the flavors and garnished with frozen fruit. They always find ways to take their projects up a notch!
Enjoying the completed frappe was the best part! They liked the strawberry flavor best and they have extra mix leftover to make more frappes. They are also thinking about trying their own concoctions to make slushies using fruit juice. This kit was designed for ages 6+ and retails for $14.99. You can find it at Target stores.
