Cooking has never really been my thing. Now that I am a mom of 3 it’s sort of a requirement but back when I was young and single, I probably couldn’t have survived without a microwave. Now that I am an adult, I still need quick and easy meals to feed my busy family but T.V. dinners don’t seem very acceptable, at least not regularly. When I heard about the new Breville Combi Wave 3-in-1 Microwave it immediately went on my wish list!
The Breville Combi Wave 3-in-1 is a combination product that not only performs as a microwave but also as an air fryer and convection oven! We have a small, countertop air fryer that we love but it really isn’t big enough to make a family dinner in without having to cook in batches. The Wave’s air fryer function is what really caught my eye because my family loves fried foods but I feel a little guilty when I make them. An air fryer allows us to enjoy healthier versions of our favorite fried foods like crispy fries, chicken wings, and all things breaded but with much less fat. The grilling function is also really intriguing. The grilling element cooks crispy food, including pizza, by using 1100W of grill power. Crispy pizza in the microwave? Yes, please!
This amazing microwave also allows you to bake or roast — think whole chickens, lasagna, and baked brownies. Plus, you still get the basic microwave functions for reheating with even heat distribution. Seriously, I don’t even think I’d need a real oven if I had one of these! It does it all!
There are some other features that make this product great like an 80% quieter soft close door. My husband and son get up earlier than the rest of the family during the week and the slamming of the microwave door always wakes me. Who knew a microwave could get you a better night’s sleep?!
Additional features include a child lock, a mute button for less beeps and the “Fast Combi” function which allows you to cook your favorite dishes faster using microwave, convection oven and grilling to achieve the desired temperature and perfect results in less time. Preset buttons include Smart Cook, Smart Reheat and Smart Defrost. Cooking programs include defrost, reheat, fish, bacon, popcorn, pizza, rice, chicken, meat, cake and butter/chocolate to make using your appliance even easier.
