With age comes common aches and pains. I’m in my early 40’s and worry a little about my future since my back and neck rarely feel great. When I’m in a good place I can get through my days without using pain relievers or any topical relief. I do keep a heating pad on my couch and use it whenever I sit down to help relax my muscles. One bottle of Notion contains approximately 60 applications. The bottle dispenses one dose at time. It’s a small amount for a targeted area. Wait 15-20 minutes and apply a second dose if needed. For a headache, try one pump on each temple. You can also apply one pump to the back of the neck or chest for restlessness.
After shoveling snow from our driveway, my lower back and hips have been hurting as well as my shoulder and neck on my right side. Since I had the most pain in my right lower back and hip I tried Notion there first. I used it in the morning after my shower. At first I thought it wasn’t working. Most topical products I’ve used have a cooling or heating effect that you feel immediately. This lotion doesn’t have that. Nor does it have a noticeable fragrance which is actually really nice. Then I realized that the pain in the area I applied it was gone! It stayed gone throughout most of the day too! I was at a basketball tournament all day which always hurts my back — bleachers and I are not friends!
A 1 ounce bottle of Notion is $89 so it’s not a very cost effect method of pain relief, especially when it takes 3-4 pumps/doses to hit all of the areas of my back/neck/hips that are hurting. In my opinion, this product would be much better suited for more targeted relief like a wrist or a knee rather than a larger area like your back. It does work really well so that can definitely be factored in when deciding if it’s worth it. For me, I’ll be waiting until I reach a higher level of pain to really test the effectiveness of Notion rather than using it all up in a few days on aches and pains I can manage without any treatment at all.
