We are FINALLY in the home stretch of distance learning for this year. We’ve been homeschooling for over 3 months now so the novelty of being home has completely worn off and we are running out of things to do before summer has even officially begun! The weather still isn’t great here either so playing outside isn’t always an option. Gramma in a Box is always a fun activity and sweet treat for my kids!
Each month comes with a different theme. All supplies are included for just $20 which is a great value! If you had to purchase the supplies separately for each project you’d spend a LOT more than that, not to mention the time it would take to organize and purchase it all from different places! This month’s them was Emoji and Minion Treats.
The first project was Emoji Pops. These were made by sticking a pop stick into a marshmallow and dipping it into melting chocolate then decorating it with candies. Each project comes with step by step directions plus tips from “Gramma”. Make sure to save half of the melting chocolate from the first project because you’ll need it for the second project.
The second project was Crispy Minion Bites. This used the leftover melting chocolate mixed with cereal and added sprinkles. The set even comes with the candy papers to hold the treats.
Last but not least is the cookie decorating project. My kids LOVE this part of the box. You get several different shapes of cookies, 3 colors of frosting and a variety of sprinkles, candies and/or colored sugar to decorate them! Gramma Terry posts little videos to her social media accounts and demonstrates different decorating techniques that my kids love to try. This project allows them to get really creative. I love seeing what they come up with! The candies in this set were super fun — tiny mustaches and googly eyes?! So cute!

This looks like a lot of fun ,even for moms and grandma’s
