My youngest daughter plays soccer and has to wear shin guards to protect her legs. They’re made out of hard plastic that velcros around her shins. I don’t imagine they are very comfortable at all, especially when it’s hot. We just moved to Arizona and it is WAY hotter than we are used to in Washington.
