The Marcus Theatres Kids Rule Summer Film Series will run from June 23rd through August 12th on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are $2.75 each, which is a little higher than the free or close-to-free deals we’ve found at other theaters, but popcorn is included in the price of these tickets and the movies shown are slightly more current. All movies start at 10am, but be sure to get there early as these will probably fill up quickly. (I arrive 1/2 hr. early to our free movies.) Marcus Theatres has more than 50 locations in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
