Our kids are still pretty little so a regular Family Game Night has not yet been established. I can’t wait until they are old enough to make it a regular event. Hasbro has just released a few of their classic games for kids with a Toy Story 3 or Shrek twist and they sent us Toy Story 3 Chutes and Ladders for our review. Since my son is a Toy Story nut, I knew he’d be thrilled to check it out.
My three year old is a bright child (if I do say so myself!) but for some reason we are really struggling with counting. Playing Chutes and Ladders together as a family was a great opportunity to work on this skill. We each took our own turn with the spinner but we had Jackson try to tell us which number it landed on and had him move our Toy Story 3 character marker the correct number of spaces. It was great practice for him and he loved it!
Hasbro recently released a series of Toy Story licensed games. Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the whole gang come to life in special Toy Story editions of Operation and Yahtzee Jr. and the new Space Shooter: Toy Story Edition. Check out all the details on these new and updated games here.
They have also released Operation: Shrek Edition and Memory: Shrek Edition.
Games start at $7.99 making this a very affordable summer activity!
