Kids aren’t the only ones that can have fun with activity books! Barron’s Books makes some really neat activity books for adults. Try one sometime to wind down after a long day at work. Coloring can be really relaxing and a great stress reliever!
The Color Quest Animals Book is one of the coolest books I’ve seen. This oversized book contains 30 large pages filled with tiny shapes. Use the color key to color in each space to reveal hidden animals including magnificent mandrill, a colorful kingfisher, or a beautiful butterfly. The pages are perforated so they can be removed from the book for easier coloring. Use colored pens or pencils for this project. Keep your pencil sharpener handy — the coloring spaces are small and a sharp tip works best!

Both of the above books are a unique coloring experience unlike any I’ve seen. It combines actual in color pictures with blank coloring spaces for a very cool effect. I love that the pages are square. Completed projects are perfect for framing! Since a portion of the page is already in color, these pages may take less time to color than similar books making it a great option for those with less time or a shorter attention span!
