I love getting surprises in the mail so I love the concept of Beauty Box 5. Each month you get a box filled with cosmetic products selected by their beauty editor — everything from luxury products to commonly known or niche brands, even eco-conscious and vegan brands. It will include a selection of skin care, nail care, fragrances, makeup and beauty accessories.

With these types of deals, you’re always taking a little bit of a risk. Since you don’t know what will be in your box each month, you may or may not like some of the products. I just received my first box and I was pleasantly surprised! Each item that came in my box was definitely something I could use! I loved the Be a Bombshell lipgloss. In fact, I might never have picked this bright of color on my own but as soon as I tried it on, I loved it! My second favorite item was the Model Co. eyeliner in black. I don’t usually use black eyeliner but this one had very soft “lead” that went on easily and was very blend-able. Plus, I loved that the sharpener is right in the cap! Perfect tip every time!
The other items I received were Jean Pierre Oil-Absorbing Facial Tissues (always handy) and CoolWay Cool Cleanse & Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner. I always love trying new hair products and these sample sizes were perfect for doing just that.
I had never heard of these brand prior to receiving by beauty box but now they’re on my radar!
