When I go out to eat I almost always order my tried and true favorite dish. I’m afraid to try something new because I worry that it won’t be as good and I’ll be disappointed that I didn’t order what I already knew was good. Bonefish Grill, one of my family’s favorite places to eat, just came out with a new menu. The Lobster Grilled Cheese caught my eye and my kids had been begging to go. My oldest calls the kids mac & cheese at Bonefish “World Famous” because he loves it so much. I made a deal with them, if they helped with the yard work and things around the house, we would take them for an early dinner. I’ve never seen them work so hard or fast! We got a lot done in record time and we were off….
Bonefish Grill has a new menu!
I was super excited that one of Bonefish’s new menu items is Organic Honest Tea in plain, Classic Green Iced Tea and Rasperry Iced Tea. It is so delicious and refreshing!
We all love the deliciously soft bread with oil and pesto that is served before the meal which really helps when everyone is starving.
When I saw Shrimp Pad Thai on the new menu I knew my husband would be happy. Pad Thai is one of his favorite dishes and he doesn’t get it very often because we don’t take the kids out for Thai (way too picky!). I’m not usually a fan but he got me to try a bite of his and it was really good! It had an almost sweet flavor to it and shrimp was a nice change from the chicken he normally gets.
I didn’t have to deviate too far from my favorite, The Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, because I went with an appetizer and ordered the new Bang Bang Shrimp Flatbread. It was spicier than I thought it would be but I really enjoyed it! My tea was perfect for taming the spiciness of it.
My kids of course ordered their favorites (I have no idea where they get it from!). Bonefish Grill has the best quality kids meals around and the portions are generous. The chicken strips are moist and juicy with a perfectly seasoned and crunchy outside. The Mac and Cheese is creamy and delicious. The fries that both meals come with are seasoned with sea salt and some of the best around. There are other options besides fries but my kids don’t usually pass these up. Kids meals also come with a drink — always pineapple juice for my clan!
If you’re looking for a nice restaurant you can take your family to, Bonefish is it. The kids menus have several pages that include activities for the kids and they get crayons they can use to color on the paper table cloth. You can find out more by visiting www.bonefishgrill.com. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
