During the summer I need all the help I can get to get my kids engaged in something other than video games. All three are pretty active in sports so I tend to get pretty lax with screen time but try to offer alternatives and sometimes enforce no-screen days. Having some fun options helps me draw the line. My math and puzzle loving son has really been enjoy the Clever Kids books and I have to admit, I have too! These books are filled with all sorts of fun puzzles! Each one has 100 brain-busting challenge including:
- Logic, reasoning, and problem-solving puzzles
- Challenges that will test your brainiac status
- Problems that ratchet up in difficulty from beginning to end
Build a pyramid, find the hidden battleship, whiz through a maze without any mistakes, solve a shape-based search scene, conquer mental arithmetic conundrums, master pictorial puzzles, and more.
These books have been great to have on hand. I pull them out at sibling sports practices and we solve puzzles together! It keeps them busy and gives their summer brains a much needed workout. Barron’s Books NEVER disappoints. Every book we’ve gotten from them has been a hit and these books are no exception.
