We recently went on a trip to Disneyland. Right outside of the park in “Downtown Disney” is a Lego store with some really amazing Lego creations. Every day we were at the park, my 8 year old begged us to go to the Lego store. The kid really loves his Legos.
We did eventually stop in. He got to build a Lego car and race it against some other kids, check out the giant Lego creations and do some window shopping. He was so upset that I wouldn’t let him buy any Lego sets but we already had THIS thing to tote home thanks to his very accurate pitching arm and a carnival game at California Adventure:
The Lego store is his happy place. Apparently Tom Sawyer Island and a giant stash of pirate booty is not:
Luckily, the morning after we arrived home from our trip, a surprise Brick Loot box showed up on our doorstep. Jackson couldn’t contain his excitement! He asked if we could do an unboxing video right away. Here it is:
And as promised, he built the T-Rex first:
Brick Loot was created by a 9 year old boy. It’s designed for brick and Lego fans and offers a monthly box filled with brick compatible products. The contents are always a surprise to subscribers and include some unique items that can’t be purchased at your average toy store. What you will find are some of the biggest brand names including OYO Sports, Nano Blocks and Brick Forge. For as low as $23 a month, your child can experience the anticipation of a new box each month as well as the excitement of unboxing his or her surprises — that’s the best part for me! I love watching Jackson open the box and get excited about each item inside!
I think the boxes are a pretty good value. We all know this type of toy isn’t cheap. The retail price on the Nanoblocks dinosaurs we received in this month’s box is around $27 — the price you’d pay for the entire contents of the Brick Loot box!
A one month subscription is $27 but you can get a 3 month subscription for $25/mo or a 6 month subscription for $23/mo. Use code moms1 for 10% off a 1 or 3 month subscription.
This month’s theme obviously was dinosaurs a great fit with all the hype over the new Jurassic World movie and Jackson LOVED it! Brick Loot is super fun for brick lovers and makes an awesome gift!
