When it comes to household chores, there’s some things I’m better at than others. In my opinion, I’m really good at keeping up with the laundry. I never have more than 2 loads needing to be washed. That’s not too bad for a family of 5. I may keep up with the laundry but I don’t excel at doing more than the basic washing. That’s why this stained pair of pants sat in my laundry room for several months. I’m horrible about checking pockets, I don’t unroll wadded up socks and I’ve been known to wash important things like cell phones and a passport because of it!
I do eventually get around to treating stains but because I’ve let them sit so long, I’m not always successful at removing them. My daughter had been pestering me for her pants back and I had just gotten some Carbona Stain Devils Stain remover so I put it to the test and was pretty surprised with the results. That’s a blood stain on white pants. It’s dried in and has been sitting untreated for quite some time.
Carbona Stain Devils come in 9 stain-specific formulas including the one I used, #4 Blood, Dairy & Ice Cream. They only cost about $4 each so you can keep a few on hand for your most common stains. There’s one for Fat & Cooking Oil and another for Grass, Dirt & Makeup. These would be our household’s most common stains. Whether your stain is motor oil, chocolate, coffee, sweat or something else, there’s probably a Carbona Stain Devils Stain Remover specific for your needs!
While the stain didn’t come out completely, it’s so light now that it’s hardly noticeable. I can’t even see it when she wears the pants. The smaller, darker spot in this photo wasn’t from blood but the the stain remove significantly lightened this spot too. For as long as this stain set it, I didn’t think these pants would be salvageable! Thanks to Stain Devil, my daughter is happy to be wearing her expensive white jeans again!
Stain Devils have been dermatologically tested and can be used on washable or dry clean only fabrics. Carbona Stain Devils are available in stores nationwide or online on Amazon or www.carbona.com.
