With the increasing financial demands on the family, it is becoming extremely difficult to make ends meet without two incomes. Many women seek out “work-at-home” opportunities to help contribute financially while still being able to stay at home with the kids, but how do you know if the jobs offered are legitimate or if they are a scam?
Career Step created an infographic that not only provides useful information about work-at-home jobs, but also gives some helpful tips to avoiding the scams. Career Step includes that there are a surprising 60 scams to every one real work-at-home job opportunity. With such a high rate of scams, it seems impossible to find a legitimate offer, but the stats say otherwise. Currently 1 in 5 Americans works from home at least one day a week.
If you do your diligence in reviews, references, and research, you will be able to find the perfect opportunity amongst the scams. Work-at-home jobs are less out of reach than you thought. Just like with any other job, you have to do the work before reaping the benefits. It’s certainly worth its weight in time and money.
