I’m usually more of a lipgloss girl but when I heard about the Osmosis Longwear Lipstick Collection I was intrigued. Cashmere Matte Longwear Lipsticks from Osmosis come in 8 gorgeous colors. First Kiss, Forget-Me-Not and Vintage stood out to me for colors I thought would be a good fit with my skin tone.
Now I remember why I prefer gloss! I can just slap it on and go! These lipsticks are really pigmented. They’re creamy but need to be applied carefully and a lipliner first isn’t a bad idea. I used a lip brush to blend these in a bit. And I actually like gloss OVER these. The color stays great and the gloss adds some shine taking a little pressure off perfect application. The top (First Kiss) and bottom (Forget Me Not) were my favorite. The middle color (Vintage) was a hint to the orange side which I don’t care for. I think it looked alright on, it just wasn’t my style.
Cashmere Matte Longwear Lipstick was designed for all skintones. These creamy lipsticks supply lasting color without the drying effects that most long lasting lipsticks tend to have. Overall, I think this is a really great product. The colors were nice, the formula great and they really are long-lasting!
