I love quick and easy meals that I don’t have to feel guilty about serving my kids. A favorite of my older two is Chef Boyardee canned pasta. It doesn’t contain any preservatives and many varieties even contain a full serving of vegetables! Now, to my delight Chef Boyardee is offering Whole Grain versions of their Beefaroni, Lasagna and Mini ABCs & 123’s and we were given an opportunity to test them out. As I said before, my kids were already a fan so I was curious to see if they would notice a difference with the whole grain version. They didn’t. As usual, the cleaned their bowls and asked for more. They only get stuff like this for lunch a couple of times per month and since they like the fun shapes (and taste!) it’s like a treat to them. I love being able to pop open a can, heat it up and have lunch on the table in a mater of minutes. It’s also great for dinner on the rare nights we have a sitter!
