There are better-for-you alternatives to potato chips, you just have to know where to find them! I love chips but I know that myself and my family would benefit from healthier choices. Check out a few of the products I’ve found that have made it easier to skip the chips and opt for snacks with more nutrients and less calories:

bare Banana Chips – These won’t satisfy you if you’re craving salty but they do tackle the crunch quite well! bare Banana Chips are the first-ever oil-free and baked, not fried or dried, banana chips that contain nice dose of potassium and are a great source of fiber. bare Banana Chips are gluten free and Non-GMO. Choose from Simply, Cinnamon and Cocoa varieties. The brand also carries apple and coconut chips!
Good Health Sea Salt Veggie Stix – These look like colored french fries and will definitely curb your salt cravings. These ight, crispy Veggie Straws are a combination of dehydrated vegetables blended with a unique blend of 2.5 cups broccoli, 3.5 beets, 5 tomatoes, 7 cups spinach and 2 carrots per serving for added nutrients and vitamins – all with 40-50 percent less fat than potato chips! One of my kids in particular LOVED this snack and wanted to take a few bags to share with her class at school. This is definitely a great alternative to traditional chips and an awesome snack!

Next time you’re craving chips, look for these healthier options. I think you’ll find they do a great job of satisfying your taste buds and you’ll feel better about eating them too!
