In a signature red box with a classy red bow, you’ll find mouthwatering chocolate delights which may include Chocopods or Bars with milk or dark chocolate and flavors from maple and bacon, to Panko breadcrumbs, popping candy, Mayan chipotle and potato chips.
I had so much fun sampling all the different flavors. Some of them were surprising and all of them were deliciously satisfying. I’m no stranger to maple and bacon — it was one of my favorites because I love the sweet/salty combination. Someone at Chuao Chocolatier must agree with me because there are several sweet/salty combos including: Sweet & Salty Bar (imagine that!), Pretzel Toffee Swirl, Salted Chocolate Crunch, and Potato Chip. Something I am not as familiar with is spicy chocolate but I have to admit, it was amazing! The Firecracker bar features Sea salt, a dash of chipotle and popping candy crackle in dark chocolate. It actually pops like fireworks in your mouth. So fun and interestingly delicious! The Spicy Maya bar is another spicy flavor.
