Aren’t these Crocs adorable? Well not only are they super cute but you’re kids will think they are super cool too. They change color in the sun! The first image is what they look like indoors. The second image is what they look like when the sunlight hits them. All of my kids have a pair of these new color changing Crocs called Crocs Chameleons. They’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now but they still get excited every time we go outside and they start to change color. They love to tell everyone “My shoes change color!” Luckily, not a lot of sunlight is needed. Living in the Seattle area, that could be a problem. The more sun, the darker the color they turn but we’ve seen decent results even on overcast days.
Crocs Chameleons come in the traditional style and the style pictured above (called “shirley“). Here’s a picture of my kids enjoying their Crocs. As you can tell, they aren’t used to the sun- sensitive eyes! We haven’t seen the sun in ages but we are thrilled with the lovely weather that’s popped up this week!
We love Crocs year round. They are great in the rain and perfect for the beach. The kids can put them on and take them off without any help and since the strap is moveable, they can be worn with the strap forward for a looser, easy-on fit or with the strap back for a more secure fit which helps the shoe stay on the foot. With so many colors and styles of Crocs to choose from, there’s something for the entire family!
