When I was in high school I took a class called Looks Good Feels Great. One of the assignments was to come up with one healthy habit, create a goal, and keep a log. Studies show that it only takes two weeks to create a habit and my goal was to drink more water. Staying hydrated is beneficial to your overall health, can reduce headaches, and can help you feel more alert. This little assignment really stuck with me. Water is my beverage of choice. I’ll drink it room temperate or with ice. Sometimes I like it with lemon or some flavor like DASANI Drops. It’s fun to switch it up and have different options.
The Coca Cola company has recently introduced DASANI Sparkling to it’s line of beverages. This unsweetened, zero-calorie, lightly carbonated drink offers and crisp and clean option for water drinkers in four great tasting flavors:Lime, Lemon, Berry and Apple, as well as an unflavored variety. DASANI Sparkling is a great alternative for health and fitness-conscious consumers to stay hydrated while adding a little flavor and “sparkle” to their daily water intake. Water with bubbles — now that’s something I haven’t tried yet but am looking forward to trying! It sounds so refreshing!
DASANI Sparkling is currently on store shelves nationwide and is available in a 12-fl. ounce 12-pack in all four great-tasting flavors. It also is available regionally at select club store locations in a 12-fl. ounce 24-variety pack.
Drinking water and staying hydrated are pretty ingrained but I could stand to create another healthy habit by setting a goal and sticking with it. Now that the weather is nicer it’s a little easier to get outside and get some exercise. One of the hardest parts of exercising is just finding the motivation to do it. For me, if it’s scheduled I’m a lot less likely to skip it. I need to pencil in some walks at least several times per week and perhaps ask my kids and/or hubby to hold me accountable! I love all of these tips! They are easy ways to lead an overall healthier lifestyle. I’m already doing some of these but I’m looking forward to making hydrating more fun with DASANI Sparkling and incorporating some of the snack tips.
