[amazon_link id=”B002ZG97EC” target=”_blank” ]Despicable Me[/amazon_link] is one of my all-time favorite kids movies. I love the music, I love the humor and of course I love the minions. I’ve seen it about a million times. It’s the only movie we keep in one of our vehicles that has a DVD player. I’m known for quoting the movie from time to time, especially “No annoying noises” and “It’s so fluffy!”
We took our kids to see the much anticipated (mostly by me) [amazon_link id=”B00DD49R0E” target=”_blank” ]Despicable Me 2[/amazon_link] in the theater. I had high hopes and while I certainly wasn’t disappointed, the first movie still had my heart. I have a feeling though, that as with the first movie, it just gets better with each viewing. It will definitely be in our regular movie rotation! My husband actually said he likes 2 better so maybe my loyalty to the original is a fault. At any rate, here’s the synopsis:
Gru, his adorable girls, and the mischievous Minions are back with a cast of unforgettable new characters in the blockbuster sequel to the worldwide phenomenon. Just as Gru has given up being super-bad to be a super-dad, the Anti-Villain League recruits him to track down a new criminal mastermind and save the world. Partnered with secret agent Lucy Wilde, Gru, along with the wildly unpredictable Minions, must figure out how to keep his cover while also keeping up with his duties as a father. Assemble the Minions for laugh-out-loud comedy in “one of the funniest, most enjoyable movies ever!” (MovieGuide®)

If there’s one children’s movie you’re purchasing this holiday season, it should be [amazon_link id=”B00DD49R0E” target=”_blank” ]Despicable Me 2[/amazon_link]! Great as a gift on it’s own or as a stocking stuffer, it’s something the whole family can enjoy together.
