Despite the well known battery life problem of iPhones, I’m still a fan. I love my iPhone but I hate that in it’s current state (a few years old) it cannot hold a charge for more than a half a day and often shuts down unexpectedly with 30% remaining. Having back up power is essential when I’m out and about. Duracell makes some great options for portable charging:
- [amazon_link id=”B00FH669I4″ target=”_blank” ]Duracell Day Trip[/amazon_link] — The 1850 mAh lithium ion battery is ideal for everyday use doubling the life your your iPhone’s battery. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket or purse and best of all, you don’t need your charging cord. It plugs directly into your phone’s port for charging.
- [amazon_link id=”B00FH6QTJ8″ target=”_blank” ]Duracell Long Haul[/amazon_link] — This baby will keep your smartphones and tablets charged up and ready to go for deals! You can even charge two devices at the same time!
Like all of the Duracell Powermat products, these portable chargers can be recharged wirelessly via the Powermat by setting them on top. They can also be charged via the USB cable which is included.
Priced at $129.99 for the set, you get a $60 savings right off the bat when you purchase it at Sam’s Club. This new bundle is available at all 600 Sam’s Club locations around the US and is the perfect gift for busy moms and dads, business travelers, recent grads or any avid mobile user.
Ensure your battery has power when you need it most with the Duracell Portable Charger Set!
I like both of these chargers for different reasons. I love that the Day Trip comes with the connector so you don’t have to carry your phone’s charging cord. On the other had, I like the Long Haul because while it is quite a bit bigger, it packs a lot more power. The Hubs tends to want to steal my back up power when his phone’s battery dies before mine. With the Long Haul we can both recharge our phones with plenty of power to spare. The phone’s charging cord is needed for this method.
