Baking cookies with my son is one of our favorite activities. Jackson helps me measure and count out the ingredients, dump them into the bowl and mix them up. He always wants to crack the eggs but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to let him try. He’s two years old. I’m sure I would have a huge mess to clean up afterwards.
There’s a tool called an EZ Cracker that might be a good solution. It cracks eggs without any mess or bits of shell. An attachment makes separating egg whites from yolks simple too. This handy tool also strips shells from hard boiled eggs in seconds.
