Even though I’m not really a dress girl, I was super excited to receive the Truman Dress from Shabby Apple.  They offer such a fun collection of dresses in the style of vintage clothing.  I chose this particular dress because I thought it would go nicely with some riding boots I already have. But because I’m kind of new to this fashion thing, I had to consult my stylist at Chatalog.  She assured me that the boots would indeed look great with this dress then suggested adding this Stainless Steel & Brown Leather Bracelet and Simply Vera Vera Wang Triple-Entry Shopper purse in Black.  But she didn’t stop there!  She also showed me how I could really change up the look of this great dress by switching out the belt it comes with to something different like this Apt. 9 Braided Belt:

Genius!  I love how the belt really pulls it all together and completely changes the feel of the dress.  The dress itself is awesome all on it’s own as the model is demonstrating but I love the versatility it has.  The fabric has some weight to it making it perfect for fall.  It’s super comfortable too!  On busy mornings I can just pull this dress on without having to put any thought into my outfit and still look fashionable.  If I have a little more time, I can play around with accessories and make a bigger statement.
