Want to go to a baseball game this spring or summer?  Here’s an awesome opportunity  to score a sweet deal on some tickets just in time for Father’s Day! There are a couple of steps but it’ll be worth it.  I’ll outline them as simply as possible:

STEP 1:  Sign up for ScoreBig.  This is a discount ticket broker that offers tickets to sporting events, concerts and more at a minimum of 10% off face value.

STEP 2: Head over to Plum District and purchase this deal —  Pay $6 for $30 toward Major League baseball tickets and other events at ScoreBig.

STEP 3:  Search for the event you’d like to attend, then select the area you’d like to purchase tickets in.

STEP 4: The site will tell you the face value of  the tickets you’d like to purchase.  Remember, you’ll get at least 10% off face value but you’ll have the opportunity to try to get the tickets for even less.  Enter the price you’d like to pay per ticket.  There is a meter on the left that lets you know the likelihood that your offer will be accepted.  Play around with it until you feel comfortable with the price then click continue. If your offer is accepted, your credit card will be charged. If your offer is not accepted, your card will not be charged so there is no risk. The value that works is usually 10-20% less than the “retail” value ScoreBig shows, but feel free to try more. I’ve gotten tickets up to 70% off before.

STEP 5: Enter your voucher number. Again, your card WILL NOT be charged if your offer is not accepted but you will not be allowed to make another offer on those same exact tickets until 24 hours have passed.
