My hubby and I like to watch shows like Homeland on Showtime but don’t always want to wait until the kids are in bed. Unfortunately, this type of show is best watched when little eyes and ears are nowhere near. This is when we take advantage of the convenience of our iPad and Kindle for the kids. We allow them to watch their devices in their room together while we watch our shows. Their happy, we’re happy. Win-win!
Flare Kids is a free app for iPad or Kindle that offers more than 1,500 videos of the most popular kids television from the leading names in children’s entertainment. It’s the perfect solution for safe, fun and easy-to-access shows for kids ages 3 to 8 that allows children to explore content independently without worry.
Parental controls allow you to set up profiles for each of your kids, manage and track what they watch and set time limits. You can customize the programming and block any channels as you see fit.
Kids can customize their experience too by choosing a theme —how fun is that?!
The parental dashboard is easy to navigate and displays the shows your child watched as well as the amount of time spent watching shows for the day. It’s easy to set and adjust time limits so you have full control over screen time.
Flare Kids curates quality videos you’ll approve of and your kids will enjoy at no cost! There are no ads or subscription fees, just a great mix of fun and educational viewing content.
You can find Flare Kids for iPad in the App Store and Flare Kids for Android tablets in Google Play. For every free Flare Kids app download through the end of the year, Flare Entertainment is providing a $1 donation to McDonald House Charities in celebration of the opening of the new Atlanta Ronald McDonald House which provides housing for families with sick children. By the end of December, Flare Entertainment will donate up to $50,000 as well as one iPad Mini for each of Atlanta’s Ronald McDonald Houses.
