I thought slime was just fad but I don’t see any signs of it fading out, at least not at our house. My oldest daughter is obsessed with it and has been for quite some time. Horizon Group has come out with some fun new food related toys including Slimygloop SqueezWhiches. We got a chance to try the Confetti Ice Cream one but other themes include Rainbow Waffle, Galaxy PB&J, Sneeze Burger, Unicorn Pizza and Diamond Doughnut.
This set came with pre-made slime with two different add-ins: confetti sprinkles and metallic glitter that you can mix in. The slime is pearl colored but takes on a whole new look with the additions.
It’s so sparkly and stretchy! You can mash it between the plastic cookie bars to make an ice cream sandwich. My daughter thought this was a really fun new way to play with slime.
You can find Slimygloop SqueezWiches at Five Below, Michaels and Walmart. It’s designed for ages 6+ and retails for $5.
If you are looking for something a bit less messy, I suggest Sparkle Magic. Both of my girls really enjoyed this fun little food related project. It comes with 4 designs that have a sticky adhesive on them along with sparkling clear gems. You stick them to your project to make them sparkle!
This kept my girls busy for awhile and was actually a relaxing project! They really enjoyed the process of sticking the gyms to the pictures.
The finished project is even cuter in person. It definitely sparkles more. The clear gems allow the color to shine through while adding texture and sparkle to the overall appearance. Super cute!
Sparkle Magic is also available in other themes including: Mermazing, Ruff Life, and Unicone! You can find them at C.C. Moore and Michael’s. They retail for $5.
Next up is Jiggle Digs. Using a dig tool you’ll dig through a squishy jelly mold. This one was shaped like a cupcake. Inside are two collectible figurines you’ll have to “excavate”.
Squeeze, poke, jiggle and wiggle to enjoy a fun sensory experience searching for your prizes.
This was fun but it didn’t take long at all to reveal the prizes. Jiggle Digs retails for $7 and can be found at Michael’s and Target. Look for Squishy Shell, Jelly Brains, Gummi Galaxy, jell-i-corn and Wiggle Poo or Sweetasaurus as seen here.
Complimentary product was provided for this review, however, all opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated in any other way. See Mommies With Cents disclosure policy for more details.
