Roxio PhotoShow is a web service that lets you share photos and videos with friends and family easily by creating PhotoShows – multi-media slideshows with music, captions, animated graphics, transitions, and effects. You can also import photos directly from your Facebook, Shutterfly, Picasa or Flickr account. Once the photoshow is completed you can choose to:

Send it via email (email addresses you send to will automatically get added to your address book so users only have to enter them once)
Post it to a web page, blog, or social network (Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, etc.)
Burn it to a DVD/CD
Broadcast it to cable TV

You can also download the PhotoShow mobile uploader for Blackberry, Windows Mobile, or iPhone to make and share shows directly from a phone. Those with a knack for Apple, can podcast a PhotoShow Channel on iTunes, then sync it to an iPod, iPhone, or AppleTV.

The standard PhotoShow is completely free but with an upgraded premium account you can use your own music files and more to create one of a kind slideshows.

I was provided with a premium PhotoShow subscription and I got the chance to play around with it a little bit (I need more hours in a day!). I love programs like this because it allows me to share photos of my kids easily in an organized and creative way. There are so many different options with the Premium service that I spent more time like looking at everything than actually putting together a PhotoShow (next time I will know where to find everything I’m looking for). I tried to add in some of the extras to give you an example of what can be done. I’m am sure that with more time and selection of photos, I could have come up with something a little better. I had a lot of fun with this little show. It was super easy to use and even easier to share- I had it posted automatically to my Facebook page and the embed code was created so that I could paste it here though I did have the option of posting it automatically here as well. It can’t get much easier than that!
