Most restaurants have booster seats and/or high chairs, but what about when you visit friends or family? It’s dinner time and you realize you don’t have a good place for your youngster to sit. The Go Anywhere Booster Seat is the perfect solution in almost any circumstance. This clever seat weighs a mere 1.5 pounds and folds down into a compact bag with a strap so it’s easy to travel with. The booster seat straps to almost any style of chair with three sets of adjustable straps that buckle together. The seat itself features a 5 point restraint harness to keep your baby or toddler secure during feeding time. The Go Anywhere Booster Seat meets ASTM certification and is BPA and Phthalate free. Designed for ages 12 months and up or babies that can sit up unsupported, the Go Anywhere Booster Seat accommodates children up to 40 lbs and retails for around $40.
We had the opportunity to try out the Go Anywhere Booster Seat. We are no strangers to traveling with small children and meal times can be especially difficult with three little ones. We’ve tried a number of different booster seats but after trying this one a single time I have to say it’s my favorite and I’ll tell you why. It folds down smaller than any other booster because it’s not made out of hard plastic. It’s lightweight and not cumbersome at all. I could stick it in my diaper bag if I wanted to! It adjusts and installs easily- I can’t imagine a dining chair that it wouldn’t work with. I unfolded and attached it to a chair in less than a minute. My daughter who is 8 months old and just starting to sit unsupported was happy to be our little tester. (Please excuse the poor picture. I didn’t realize until I went to upload it that it was blurry and it’s the only picture I took.) We went to my in-laws for dinner on Sunday as we often do. With all 8 grandkids, things tend to get a little crazy. Parker loved having her own seat like the other kids and I was able to feed her and myself at the same time. I did dribble a little on the seat and it wiped right off. The only thing about this booster seat that could be construed as a negative is that it doesn’t have a tray. Parker is tiny and there is no way she could have sat up to the table with it. This actually works out fine since Parker refuses to finger feed and just needed a safe and upright place for me to feed her. My other daughter who is 2 probably would have fit right up to the table with it though and it would have been a good place for her. As it was, we let her sit with the big kids and she kept standing in her chair and messing around. Next time she’s getting the Go Anywhere Booster Seat!
I’ll be keeping this in the car so we’ll always have it around when we need it. It’s really handy! To find out more about the Go Anywhere Booster Seat, please visit www.aparentcompany.com.
