Do you like to try new and different food items that you can’t find at your local grocery store? I sure do! Gourmet Gifter has a wide selection of products from healthy meal replacement bars to gourmet popcorn and candy. I recently received a few products to try and my taste buds were really happy! Here’s what I sampled:
- Colby’s Kettle Corn in Salty Sweet Addiction —I can see why they named it that. One handful and you’re hooked! It’s prepared in authentic steel kettles, hand sifted and lightly salted by experienced Kettleman using only the finest ingredients. It’s a great snack because it will satisfy sweet and salty cravings and it’s a good source of fiber and whole grain. It’s also gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegetarian friendly making it a very sharable snack! It doesn’t contain any transfat, preservatives or cholesterol either!
- Chili Cheese Puffs — I’ll be honest, I didn’t even think I’d like these but I ended up eating the whole bag pretty much on my own. My kids tried them and liked them too but I didn’t really want to share 🙂 These flavored corn puffs are seasoned with a perfect blend of cheese and spice that really hits the spot!
- Peanut Brittle — The hubs dove right into this one. Peanut Brittle is one of his faves and he gave this one 2 thumbs up. It’s handmade and has the flavor of traditional peanut brittle so you get exactly what you expect!
- Pur Earth Pineapple Meal Replacement Bar — I’ve tried many bars that are similar but have never seen one in Pineapple flavor. I happen to love pineapple so I had high hopes for this one and I was not disappointed. One bar contains 20 grams of protein and is loaded with omega oils. The cold pressed bars are made with a combination of gluten free seeds, grains, plant based protein, fruit fiber and more. They do not contain high fructose corn syrup, added sugars or artificial sweeteners. You won’t find hydrogenated oils, soy or glycerin either. Just raw, whole food nutrition that tastes great.
Overall, I really enjoyed all of the foods that I had the opportunity to sample and I’m looking forward to trying more in the future!
