I’ve always been a stay-at-home mom and/or a work-at-home mom so all this home time isn’t new to me. What is new is not leaving the house at all for days at a time. I’m finally settling in and getting a little comfier. Some days I wear leggings or sweats all day long, something I normally wouldn’t do. I’m also doing less with my hair. I don’t always blow dry it and it’s often in a ponytail or bun. I’ve also discovered a super comfortable way to wear it down while still keeping it out of my face — HeadPeace Headbands!
Lindsay Theken, owner of HeadPeace, is a stay at home mom (and obviously, a small business owner). She offers quality headbands for athletes, yogis, hippies and busy people. She designs the headbands which are manufactured in Nepal. Her socially-ethical, fair-trade company helps women coming out of slavery and trafficking situations to get back on their feet. Lindsay has always loved headbands but was never able to find the perfect one so she created her own! She wanted them to be comfortable, stylish and athletic. I think she nailed it!
I love the Original Band in Arctic Night. It has lots of colors so it goes with almost everything. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a headband as comfortable as this one! I love how you can adjust the width of the headband by folding the front/back under. It keeps the hair out of my face and stays put — it doesn’t slip out. It’s so comfortable I forget that I am even wearing it! Normally I can’t skip a day of hair washing because my roots get really oily. This headband is wide enough that it can pretty much cover the whole top of my head, covering up my roots (and my new grays!). That brings me to another point! For those that normally color their hair at a salon and are struggling with grow-out until the salons open again, these are the perfect solution!
HeadPeace headbands are super versatile. Short hair, long hair, curly hair, straight hair — just about any hairstyle can pull of a HeadPeace headband! Just look at all the different ways they can be worn! They come in a variety of colorful and fun prints that are awesome. I’m hoping they come out with some solid colors and some more subtle prints for those of us that aren’t as bold though.
HeadPeace is now offering face masks! These do NOT come in designs, just your basic black. They also offer Neck Gaiters and Men’s Tie Bands. You can find out more at www.headpeaceheadbands.com. They’re offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders, so pick yourself up a new headband today!
