One thing that I have a problem with getting my toddler to eat is here veggies. My son (that is not even 1 mind you) has even turned away veggies lately. Silly boy! Twitter Moms and Horizon Little Blends want to know how moms sneak fruits and veggies into their toddler’s diet. So, I am going to share some of my ways to get my kids to eat their veggies:
– Shred veggies and put them in meatloaf is my #1 sneak attack.
– Let them eat dip with the veggies. I let my daughter add ranch dip with her carrots.
– Put a cracker or something in the veggies, so they dig into the veggies and “accidentally” eat them as well.
– Add veggies to rice.
– Create smoothies so they think they are milkshakes to get fruit.
– Ants on a log are an excellent way to eat celery. Add peanut butter and raisins on top of the celery.
– Make blueberry or banana waffles/pancakes.
Tell me how you sneak fruit and veggies into your children’s diets. Bloggers can also enter Twittermoms and join the fun as well here.
