Juice In the Box Containers Review
Oh my goodness. Only one full week left of summer! Where has the time gone? To be honest, I’m kind of ready to get back into a routine, get organized and welcome the crisp fall weather! One of the things I’ve been thinking about lately is packing lunches. My oldest is the only one in school full time but with my other two in half day Kindergarten and Preschool + daytime activities, eating on the go will probably be a common occurrence. I need to be prepared!
I used to buy juice or milk boxes for on-the-go but they can be pretty expensive. Plus, they often contain high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and flavors. I wanted a better portable solution. I found it in Juice in the Box. This virtually indestructible and spill-proof, 100% BPA-free reusable container is shaped like a juice box and has a lid with a pop-up straw. Now I can offer filtered water, fresh juice made using fruits and veggies or any other healthy drink. The reusable nature of Juice in the Box makes it earth friendly and will save you money over regular juice boxes.
We’ve been trying these out for a few weeks and really love them. Each of my kids has their own color so they always know whose is whose. The lids have a seal that prevents them from leaking. It’s a little bit hard to get off which is a good thing. Toddlers won’t be able to open these on their own and spill them. The top cap however, opens easily with the push of a button, exposing the soft, bendy straw making it easy for kids of any age to use. The cap stays attached with a hinge so there are no pieces to lose!
Probably one of my favorite things about Juice in the Box is that the straws are replaceable. If one gets chewed on, you don’t have to buy a whole new box, you can just replace the straw! They are easy to clean too. The bottom (straight) part of the straw can be detached from the top bendy part of the straw for cleaning.
I also love the size of these containers. They hold 8 oz which is plenty for a meal but not too much to weigh down the lunchbox if they’ll be toting it around. Available in several fun colors, Juice in the Box containers retail for around $12 each. You can find out more at www.juiceinthebox.com.
