I love being warm and cozy in jeans and a sweater but I also love flip flops. The turn of the seasons and the wardrobes that come along with them are always a welcome change. One of the things I’m most looking forward to this spring is retiring all of my socks until next fall! Even though I love my hoodies and jeans I’m also looking forward to having more flexibility with my wardrobe and infusing some style.
I picked up some great pieces from the Daisy Fuentes line at Kohl’s that I was able to mix with some items I already had to create some fun outfits for spring. Here in the Pacific Northwest it takes awhile to warm up in spring. I picked up a basic denim jacket the other day at a thrift shop that is great for lightweight warmth without sacrificing style. Here I added it over the super comfy striped slubbed tee and white jeans. I gave the jeans a wide cuff for a fresh look and broke out my Crocs flip flops from last year. This outfit feels a little nautical to me and makes me want to hit the beach! Don’t forget the sunglasses and a cute bracelet!

A basic tee doesn’t have to be plain jane. It’s easy to dress it up a bit or keep it casual but cute. I love both of these outfits with the super soft Daisy Fuentes navy tee. It’s available in other colors too! I like to wear a cami under my tee for a little bit of a layered look. The Daisy Fuentes camisoles got excellent reviews on Kohls.com and I can see why! They are super soft and stretchy!

Can you tell I’m loving the cuffed denim look? I actually ordered these jeans in a long length size and they were too long so cuffing them was the perfect solution. Plus, I think it adds so much style to wear them this way! It’s hard to see in the picture but the blazer has grey pin stripes. It’s really cute and comfortable. It’s more of a casual blazer and I love it with the distressed denim. I rolled the sleeves on this but you can keep them full length too. It’s perfect for cooler spring/summer days because it looks good over a tee or tank.
