Krusteaz Breakfast Family Fun Night
If there’s one sure-fire dinner the whole family will love, it’s breakfast for dinner. Did you know that September is National Breakfast month? It’s true! Be sure to incorporate some breakfast items into your dinner routines this month to celebrate! Krusteaz makes it really easy do make a delicious breakfast whether is pancakes, waffles or muffins. I made our family a breakfast feast of waffles AND pancakes earlier this month along with sausage and hasbrowns.
The blueberry pancake mix is my favorite. All you have to do is add water! I’m not a morning person at all but I think I could even pull of a quick before school breakfast using this mix. Instead, I froze this time I froze the left over and just heated them in the toaster the next morning for breakfast. It worked out so well, I’ll be working breakfast for dinner (with leftovers!) into our weekly meal plan! Looks like we won’t be alone.

We topped our blueberry pancakes with Dole mixed frozen fruit and a little bit of whipped cream — so good!
The waffles were easy to make but you have to add eggs and oil too instead of just water like the pancakes. The mix worked really well in our waffle maker. We topped these with sliced bananas, a little bit of whipped cream and mini chocolate chips. No wonder my kids liked it, right? I have a bit of a sweet tooth myself so this dinner was right up my alley! We won’t always indulge in the whipped cream but I do like the idea of adding fruit to our meal whether it be as a topping or a side.
