La Bella Donna Compressed Mineral Foundation Review
I’ve been experimenting a lot lately with foundations. I typically use a loose mineral powder but I was curious to try a pressed version. When the compact arrived, I was impressed with it’s appearance. A shiny silver round compact opens up to reveal a small mirror and the product itself. My first thought was that I made a mistake and got the color wrong. They sent a round sponge-like makeup applicator that I used to give it a try. The color is surprisingly different once it’s outside of the compact and ended up being a pretty good match!
Normally I’d use a brush to apply foundation but like the way the sponge applicator worked just as well or better. It was easy to control exactly where I wanted product and I could build it a little for better coverage. I had a dark spot under my eye and this foundation covered it well without using an concealer. The only other product I used on my face was SPF. La Bella Donna Compressed Mineral Foundation did a good job of evening out my skin tone and covering small imperfections.
