At the beginning of the year I tried my first wearable activity tracker. I was amazed how well it motivated me to get up and move! I was curious though, would another tracker work better? I tried doing a bit of research on my own but it wasn’t easy to make an informed decision. That’s when I heard about Lumoid. There are SO many activity trackers available today. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could actually try out your top choices and get a feel for them before shelling out the money to purchase one? That’s exactly what Lumoid offers.
Lumoid allows you to try up to 5 fitness trackers for two weeks before committing to buy one. Everything you need comes in one box which you’ll need to save. A return label is included to make it easy to repackage the devices to send back in the same box at the end of your trial.
Each device comes in it’s own little sachet bag with it’s charger making them easy to keep track of.
Each also includes a little card that briefly tells a bit about it’s features.
I love how easy it is to order a kit. If you have specific ones you’d like to try you can select them individually. Lumoid also offers pre-made kits to make it even easier! Here are a few that are offered:
2.) Heart Rate Kit
4.) Runner’s Kit
5.) Fit Momma Kit
If you have a specific feature you are looking for, these pre-made kits are a great place to start. One of the features I thought I was set on was a waterproof device. The Swimmer’s Kit was recommended but in the end, I went with choosing my own pieces because my curiosity got the best of me.
When I saw the Ringly and HAD to try it. I am so glad I had the opportunity to try this before buying because I hated it. It looks pretty but it’s features were pretty useless to me. All it does is vibrate notifications. For nearly $200, this device is not worth it to me at all! Lumoid saved me from wasting a bunch of money 0n something I wouldn’t have been happy with in the end.
Another cool thing about Lumoid is that you can also try out accessories. I was able to try this Apple Watch band to see if I’d like it better than the sport band it comes with. I also got to try the Misfit necklace accessory which I found to be a bit too heavy for my liking. The watch band was cool though!
Here’s where Lumoid gets even better. Find the device you love? Use your rental fee towards purchasing your favorite and ship the rest back. Check out all of Lumoid’s gear at https://lumoid.com/products/
