Young children are drawn to cars, even my girls like playing with them! The new MOTORWORKS line byManhattan Toy is sure to start your children’s engines! These interactive toys may not have batteries but they’re just as enticing, if not more so, than battery operated cars. There are three different collections: Street Series, Speed Series and Extreme Series. Each vehicle has a beautiful beech wood body with interchangeable snap in pieces (wheels, windshields and more). The pieces are easy to move around to customize the car. For even more creativity, Manhattan Toy offers customization options with accessories kits that are sold separately. Accessory packs start at $4.99:
- Custom Car Decals
- Ground Effects wheels and trim
- Street Drifter wheels and trim
- Police Pursuit wheels and trim
- Racing Wheels and trim
- Monster Wheels and trim
- Downforce Dragster wheels and trim
Jackson and I had a great time customizing his cars with the Custom Car Decals. It came with three different sheets and a large selection of cool designs. After we were finished applying the decals and switching parts around, he was ready to race. The cars roll pretty fast on their own with a good push but he said to me “Mommy, wouldn’t it be cool if they had the pull back and roll wheels?”
Overall we love the interaction and versatility of the vehicles. It’ll be fun to add different designs to our collection. Jackson really loves building things so that element of the toy was a huge hit and will only get better with more pieces!
