I have to admit, cooking is not really my thing. I try to make dinner for my family at least five days a week but most nights it’s something simple like spaghetti or tacos. And still, I dread dinner time. I don’t enjoy cooking when my two year old and three year old are running around like crazy kids and my husband is still at work so some nights I give in and pop a store bought frozen meal in the oven and spend the time that it’s cooking either playing with my kids or tackling another household chore. It’s amazing how much extra I can get done when I don’t have to deal with dinner. I can thank Marie Callender’s for getting all of my laundry put away! Check out what Marie has to offer:
- Marie Callender’s Bakes- Available in Creamy Chicken Alfredo with Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna, Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna, Southwestern Style Chipotle Chicken Bake, Scalloped Potatoes & Ham in a Creamy Swiss Cheese Sauce.
- Marie Callender’s Steamers- These one dish meals are perfect for hot lunches. They are available in a wide variety including Balsamic Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Meatballs and Sausage Marinara, Chicken Teriyaki and more.
- Marie Callender’s Pies- Don’t forget dessert! Marie Callender’s offers delicious frozen pies in flavors such as Dutch Apple and Chocolate Silk.
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach but Marie Callender’s is after my own heart with these delicious and time saving eats! Nearly all of the varieties appeal to me and I can be somewhat of a picky eater. Lasagna is a family favorite and I love that they offer one with a twist. We also love scalloped potatoes & ham. It’s nice to have a meal the whole family can enjoy. These meals cook quickly so they are perfect for those moments when dinner time sneaks up on you (that happens a lot at our house!)
The Steamers, most of which include either rice or pasta are perfect for my lunches. I like being able to just pop something in the microwave. I don’t have a lot of time to do much else so I often skip lunch but with these I’m able to eat lunch which is nice.
Marie Callender’s pies are the best. The Razzleberry pie is a family favorite- and this time when I say “family” I mean extended family which includes all of my in-laws. This pie turns up at family get-togethers more often than not and is delicious served with vanilla ice cream.
