My 6 year old son had a friend over to play last week. They did a little over everything — playing outside, screen time with some video games and the iPad, indoor basketball and playing Legos. But when I brought out the new [amazon_link id=”B00ECV5D5A” target=”_blank” ]Marvel Super Hero Mashers[/amazon_link], that’s when the fun really began. Hasbro has created a line of Marvel Super Hero toys called Mashers that have interchangeable parts. Kids can use their creativity to create their own one-of-a-kind super heroes. The arms, legs and heads can be mixed and matched as well as their battle gear to make all sorts of combinations. [amazon_link id=”B00ECV5D50″ target=”_blank” ]Spiderman[/amazon_link] can now have the [amazon_link id=”B00ECV5DXC” target=”_blank” ]Hulk’s[/amazon_link] powerful arms and trade in his webs for Captain America’s shield. More than 20 unique Marvel Mashers will be released in 2014 making crazy customizations a Super Hero fan’s dream come true. Action figures sell for around $10 while Mashers Battle Upgrade (action figures that come with multiple battle gear pieces) retail for around $15.
The kids had a great time playing with the two sets we received . The following day, this toy had not been forgotten. I took Jackson to a college basketball game and he asked if he could bring the figure along. The little boy next to us at the game was really intrigued with the figure so Jackson let him check it out. Super Heroes are really popular and not just amongst boys. Girls like super heroes too! If you were a super hero, what would your powers be? Which super hero parts would you combine to make your ideal hero? Mix it up with Mashers! The more sets you collect, the more creative you can be!
