It was a very long summer in Arizona. I couldn’t wait for the fall weather to arrive but it’s here at long last! For now, I’m saying goodbye to “hot as the face of the blazing sun” and hello to much more tolerable weather. That means I finally get to switch up my makeup routine because my face won’t be melting off!

I love that you get both fun jewel tones and earthy neutrals in this versatile palette. My eyes are green and Merle Norman hit the mark with these color suggestions. Le Lilac and Vin are two of my faves from this pallet. I use Vin almost every day in the outer corner and crease of my eye. I also really like it with the other luminous shades.
The Soft Touch Eye Pencil Duo goes great with the palette. You get Claret, a wine color, on end and Periwinkle, a dark blue color on the other end. I use Claret most days but when I want a fun pop of color I use the other end. Both glide on smoothly and offer long lasting color that is opthamologist-tested, fragrance-free and gluten-free.

This is just a basic, every day look I did using the products in this review. It’s very easy to take it up a notch (or 3) for a date night or special event. The eye shadows are buildable and blend well making it a breeze to go from subtle to bold depending on your needs. I highly recommend Merle Norman Cosmetics!
